What Should We Wear?

Some men will be in suits and ties and some in jeans and casual shirts. Some women will be wearing dresses, but many will be wearing casual pants and tops as well as jeans and t-shirts. Sunday and Wednesday evenings are comfortable casual. Don't worry about what to wear. Just come expecting a God-centered experience. We will be excited to see you.

Colossians 3:12-14

"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection." NKJV

Is the Church Handicap Accessible?

Yes, pull through our covered driveway at the front of the church to let someone out. There are no steps, and the entire church is on ground level except for the Fellowship Hall where an elevator is available.

Is There a Place for my Children?

We invite you to bring your newborns through age 3 to the nursery during Bible study and Worship on Sunday morning, 9:30-11:30 am. Children ages 4 through 5th grade and youth grades 6-12, have an age-appropriate Bible study class they can attend while parents are in their classes, from 9:30-10:15 am. Then you can meet up with your kids in the sanctuary for worship. On Wednesdays at 6:00 pm we have activities for children in the church fellowship hall beginning with a light meal at 5:30. The adults attend prayer meeting in the sanctuary during this time, with activities ending at 7 pm. Throughout the year activities are planned for our kids and youth. These will appear on our church calendar each month located under the events tab here on our website.

What Will Sunday Worship Look Like?

You can expect a time of singing using our church hymnals, accompanied by piano and organ. Ushers will pass the offering plates for those who desire to give. Before our pastor comes to preach, we have special music, most often by the choir. You will always hear a message that is biblical from our pastor. We close the service with a hymn of invitation, giving the congregation time to respond however the Lord may lead.

Where Do We Park and Enter?

If you drive in from Maplewood Avenue you will see a large parking lot facing the front of the church. There is a covered entrance there for rainy days or to drop off those who have mobility issues. Parking spaces on the side of the church (Maplewood Avenue) are reserved for handicapped parking. If you arrive on Kentucky Avenue you will turn right onto Maplewood Avenue beside the church and turn left into the front parking lot. You will enter through the front doors and find yourself in our foyer. There is a door on the left and one on the right that enter the sanctuary. Feel free to use either door then sit wherever you'd like. If you come for Bible study our greeters will assist you and your family in finding your class.
